Child under age 6
CA$ 8,157
maximum per eligible child per year
Child aged 6 to 17
CA$ 6,883
maximum per eligible child per year
Amounts apply to the July 2026 to June 2027 benefit period and are based on 2025 adjusted family net income.
How family income reduces the CCB
The CCB begins to decrease when adjusted family net income exceeds the first income threshold. A second reduction formula applies above the second threshold, with rates that depend on the number of eligible children.
First income threshold

How is the reduction calculated?
When adjusted family net income exceeds the first threshold, the benefit begins to decrease. The reduction percentage depends on the number of eligible children. A second reduction formula applies when income exceeds the second threshold.
Important information
CCB payments are recalculated each July using adjusted family net income from the previous tax year. Changes in income, marital status, custody, residency or the age of your children can affect the actual amount you receive.
